Brittany primarily works with children, adolescences and teens ranging from ages 3-18 years old. Brittany does work with adults some focusing on trauma related concerns. She has worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, and legal concerns. Some evidence-based techniques that she has used in sessions include, play therapy, art therapy, DBT, and trauma focused techniques.

Phillip has worked in the mental health profession since 2009, and has been a licensed professional counselor since 2014. He is experienced in working with clients who struggle with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and spiritual development issues. Phillip is an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, and he strives to provide a comfortable and safe space to focus on the healing process of each client.

Every day, therapists work with clients who have experienced past trauma, grief or loss, addiction(s), food issues, lasting effects from abuse, or other life altering challenges. I am skilled at helping trauma victims learn to "tell their story" in a safe and non-judgmental environment and guide them towards healing. It is my mission to assist clients in seeing dramatic improvements in their ability to trust, forgive, recover, and learn to move forward with their lives.

Drawing upon evidence-based therapeutic approaches, I tailor my counseling sessions to meet the unique needs of each client. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, IFS, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy.

Interactive Therapies began in order to serve the needs of children and families' behavioral, emotional, and other psychological challenges. I offer interactive, creative, and innovative approaches to many of the challenging issues facing families and their children here in North Mississippi. I am passionate about involving caregivers in the therapeutic process and facilitating change by helping all participates feel validated and understood.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Therapist in Mississippi since 1999. I hold a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education and a PhD in Educational Leadership. My experience in the field of mental healthcare spans over 30 years. I was a school administrator for six years and a former law enforcement officer for 10 years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, couples, parenting problems, career challenges, PTSD and ADHD. I am a compassionate counselor, but I believe in individual accountability.
