My theoretical approach is a Symptom-Focused Dynamic approach utilizing Attachment theory as well as Solution Focused therapies. Overshadowing all of these approaches is a commitment to a Biblical worldview.

Alan Wheatley is pleased to announce the formation of a 2-Day Intensive Workshop for those struggling with porn and other types of compulsive sexual behavior. Utilizing the groundbreaking work of Dr. Patrick Carnes and his workbook, Facing the Shadow, participants will have an opportunity to learn practical skills and develop an action plan to confront their conflicts and fears while finding hope on the path to recovery.
