I'm the creator of this after school 6 week group for kids aged 9-12. 1. learning to identify stress, worry, emotions, overwhelm, fears, frustration. 2. learning to be present with their body in order to listen to it, 3. What in the heck happens to each of us, individually right before we behave a certain way, 4.learning the F cubed (fight, flight and freeze) response, 5. learning that particular situations lead to thoughts, thoughts lead to emotions and emotions lead to behavior, 6. tools to use outside of calm crusaders sessions and 7. diaphragmatic (deep belly) breathing.
