Some people who experience trauma may struggle with memories and thoughts about the event. They may have nightmares or feel angry all the time. They may want to avoid thinking about the trauma or encountering things that remind them of it. While it may feel better momentarily, avoidance of the trauma can keep you stuck from recovering from PTSD. As a certified trauma therapist, I offer a treatment that helps heal PTSD in 12-15 sessions. I specialize in working with first responders & veterans and am extensively trained to work with the unique challenges they face, however, I work with all forms of trauma.

Brandon Adair is a licensed professional counselor who earned his master’s in clinical psychology from Alabama A&M University in Normal, AL. Lacey has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2009, and is a Counseling Supervisor with the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling of the State of Alabama. She received her Master's Degree in Community Counseling from the University of South Alabama. Lacey is a Master’s Addiction Counselor through NADDAC, currently a member of the Alabama Counseling Association and NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals.
