About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) 37PC00458300 with the State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners and permit holder in Psychology with the State Board of Psychological Examiners TP 203-081 in the state of NJ. My approach to psychotherapy incorporates the mental, emotional, and physical self. This is your opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings and build a healthy therapeutic relationship. I will guide you in discovering more about yourself and your patterns of behavior. This relationship will also encourage you to establish new, healthy patterns of behavior.
I am a Certified Rational Living Therapist and use CBT to help with problem solving and, together, we create detailed goals in order to achieve the desired feelings and actions. Regarding group services through G.A.T.E., our game based CBT groups are separated by chronological age/developmental age, diagnosis, interests, and goals.
I take an educational approach to psychotherapy and engage each person as a unique individual, worthy of unconditional acceptance, regardless of your personal circumstances or struggles. G.A.T.E. group services help build communication skills, coping skills, interpersonal skills, emotional expression, protection of others, and social environment awareness.
