I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a concentration of direct practice with children, youth and families. I also have obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology .My therapeutic approach and training is in Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), CBT, DBT, Parent-Child Relationship Therapy, and Play-Based Therapy. I am passionate about working with individuals who are struggling with trauma, childhood trauma, anxiety, depression & looking to strengthen interpersonal relationships.
My prior experience consisted of working with children, teens & families in an acute psychiatric setting facilitating group therapy that focused on anxiety/depression, self-harm & self-esteem. I specialize in helping teens, children and families overcome difficulties & strengthen the parent-child relationship and family system.
I am passionate about being able to provide individuals with the tools they need to overcome challenges and be able to use these resources to empower each individual to reach their potential. My approach is to ensure that every individual feels safe and supported throughout his or her therapeutic process.
