Imagine a house is on fire, but the fire is only in one bedroom. What would you do? I think most people would call for help to extinguish the fire before it spreads. Now, imagine the house is you and the fire is whatever you're facing: depression, anxiety, mom guilt, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, big life changes. Do you tell yourself "people have it worse than me" or "I shouldn't feel this way because..."? I want you to know that you don't have to wait till that fire spreads to all the other rooms. I am a compassionate therapist trained in EMDR and certified in Perinatal Mental Health. I enjoy working with women: the overwhelmed mom, the anxious college student, the one brave enough to try to break unhealthy generational patterns. I am especially passionate about working with those struggling on their journey to or with motherhood.
When I am not in the office, you may find me sipping on an oat milk coffee, eating Mexican food, spending time with my husband and precious daughter, or reading a good book!
