I believe that we often receive oppressive and harmful messages that can lead to mistaken beliefs about ourselves and get in the way of achieving a meaningful and fulfilling existence. I strive to make therapy an insightful and uplifting experience for all.
It is my view that the person is never the problem; more often we struggle to navigate in healthy ways within a broken system. Through an empathic and flexible approach, I will work with you to fight these forces, change unwanted thought patterns, and identify strategies for overcoming mental and emotional challenges that fit with who you are at your core.
I have experience working with adults, children and families, often with a trauma focus, CBT and nervous system regulation skill building.
