Hello! As a counselor, I strive to create an empathetic, trustworthy, and nonjudgemental environment. I provide child-centered play therapy for children and individual counseling for tweens, teens and adults. My approach to counseling is built upon the belief that every person has inherent dignity and is worthy of being seen, heard, and cared for. I draw on my background in early childhood education to provide and accepting and developmentally appropriate space for your child or teen to begin working through any big feelings or behaviors they are encountering.
I enjoy using evidence based therapies personalized for my client's specific, unique needs. I draw from theories including Person-Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems Theory, and Child-Centered Play Therapy. I can also offer you tools that resonate with you or your family's core values and various parenting styles.
