About
Are you feeling anxiety, depression or stress lately, or are you finding yourself drinking or using drugs to cope and just can't stop? Maybe you have decisions to make or you just simply feel alone and are struggling to cope with life on life's terms. Finding the right counselor is the first step - and you don't have to struggle alone! I offer a judgement-free virtual space full of hope and understanding. We'll explore what brings you here. I'll listen, I'll hope to earn your trust swiftly, and we'll move at your pace. We'll draw upon your strengths, explore some options and then collaborate on a plan to move forward! LGBTQ Friendly
I mainly use Cognitive-Behavioral and DBT techniques, with an integrative, solution-focused approach. I believe our thoughts and behaviors have immense power over our wellbeing and exploring new ways of thinking and interacting and learning new coping skills will bring positive change. I specialize in addictions, anxiety, grief, depression and life changes.
There are solutions, and you don't have to struggle on your own! We will work at your pace and I will help you focus on coping and moving forward with love and compassion. I think that in the counseling relationship, we are "fellow travelers," and perhaps I have some insight and ideas that can assist you on your journey, or we can find new ones together!
