Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Since starting my career in 2015, I have worked in community-based mental health, private practice, schools, and hospitals. Since 2021, I have primarily worked in telehealth, so I am well versed in making virtual sessions as comfortable and productive as possible. I’ve worked with children and adults dealing with life-changing situations, such as Depression, Anxiety, and ADHD.
My most utilized approaches with clients are client-centered and solution-focused therapies. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy. I believe therapy is a team effort that works best when we’re both invested in its success.
When working with clients, I always try to meet them where they are. Therapy can be intimidating, and it takes a lot of courage to talk to someone (a stranger at first!) about things that you are struggling with. I believe that everyone can change their situation, whether big or small.
