Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois. I’ve worked with various populations since 2015, when I worked as an advocate for domestic violence survivors. I’ve worked with children and adults dealing with life-changing situations, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD. My most utilized approaches with clients are client-centered and solution-focused therapies. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy. I believe therapy is a team effort that works best when we’re both invested in its success.
My communication style involves meeting you where you are at. You’ll always have space to speak about your stressors at the beginning of every session, and I’ll help guide you in the most productive way possible. My goal is to help you eventually feel prepared and capable enough to cope with your stressors on your own.
Our first session will consist of me getting to know you as a person. We will discuss your biological, familial, social, and psychological history.
