I work with women with anxiety in life transitions. Break-ups, job transitions, graduations, moving out, retiring from athletics. They feel stuck, destabilized, and unsure of who they are now. Perhaps they didn't know who they were before either. Sometimes these transitions can bring up problems with relationships, friendships, their family, their identity, spiritual issues, eating issues, and grief. They tend to be people-pleasers, have high expectations, and feel like they are not good enough.
I work with my clients to bring the focus back on themselves. Who are they? What do they believe in? What do they want to do with their time? Somehow they got lost along the way and need help to reclaim and define themselves.
My practice is an LGBTQ+ safe space. I also welcome faith discussion and provide Christian counseling. I'm a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor for addressing issues about eating and body image.
