There’s no roadmap to living a fulfilling life, and the challenges we face on our journeys can feel overwhelming, isolating, and ongoing. As we move through life, we may encounter past wounds, relationship stress, and major life transitions that begin to take root in our behaviors, emotions, thoughts, and our most cherished relationships. I’ve had the opportunity to work extensively with individuals, children, adolescents, adults, couples experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, body image concerns, empowerment, and major life transitions.
My approach to therapy integrates relational, culturally sensitive, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed practices to help me understand your positionality and role in your world. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic methods in my work.
I understand that starting therapy can be daunting, and I’m here to walk with you through moments of struggle and success. I cherish each opportunity to connect with you and begin witnessing quiet shifts in your mood, cognition, and sense of empowerment. I’m here to support you as you take those steps on your new journey with patience and empowerment.
