I am an EMDR trained therapist who specializes in helping people work through complex and relational trauma. I offer an integrative approach to the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges and life transitions. If you "think about your feelings" a lot, and have trouble "feeling your feelings" Perhaps you've developed some not so helpful coping skills to keep yourself safe, but now they no longer serve you. My approach is rooted in somatic experiencing and IFS parts work and that informs my work with individuals around their families of origin and difficult past experiences.
I'm a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where I earned my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since then, I have earned by additional credentials as through completing multiple Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) courses. I love helping people work on life skills and relationship building strategies.
