Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware people who have read the books, done the journaling, and can explain their patterns intellectually. And yet, something still feels stuck. They may struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, OCD, or the exhaustion of always reading the room. Often, these patterns began in families where they had to be responsible, impressive, easy, invisible, or somehow both too much and not enough. Therapy helps us understand why these adaptations make sense and how they might begin to loosen.
My work is psychoanalytic, relational, and depth-oriented. I pay attention to what is said and unsaid, to the patterns that repeat, and to the parts of you that have had to stay hidden or over-functioning. I offer a compassionate, warm space where insight becomes something lived, not just understood.
There is something sacred about being invited into another person's inner world. My style is warm and direct; I will notice things, reflect them back, and stay with you when it feels hard to see clearly. If you are looking for long-term work that reaches beneath the surface, I would be glad to talk.

My lens is primarily psychoanalytic and I borrow from many modalities when needed. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. Often, we'll look at how your past has affected your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you challenge your perspectives that might no longer be serving you.
