As a therapist who specializes in women’s health, trauma recovery, & perinatal mental health, I enjoy working with women who have experienced anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and/or trauma. I am a certified clinical trauma specialist with advanced training in the area of sexual trauma. I am also a certified perinatal mental health specialist through Postpartum Support International, & I am especially passionate about birth trauma and navigating the perinatal journey as a survivor of previous trauma. I am a firm believer that we all make sense in the context of what we've walked through.
It's the honor of my life to walk alongside others as they reconcile what they've experienced & what they believe to be true about themselves, the world, and/or God. I practice from a whole-person, strengths-based, & trauma-informed approach. I am passionate about integrating the mind & body through mindfulness-based approaches, polyvagal theory, & EMDR.
I believe that our bodies are storytellers, constantly holding space for our experiences and trying to communicate what we need in order to move out of survival mode. If you've found yourself stuck in survival mode for too long, it would be my honor to help you navigate that journey.
