It is my goal to provide support to girls and young women, helping them to feel heard, understood, respected, and capable of change. I enjoy working with children, teens, and families to help them meet their goals for interpersonal, emotional, behavioral, academic, and familial functioning. I utilize a strengths-based, client-centered approach, with an emphasis on creating a safe space to process life’s challenges. I use my training and experience, coupled with warmth and compassion, to provide tangible skills girls can apply to reinforce their strengths and cope with difficult issues.

I help clients to recognize patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are impacting their functioning. While I work with clients to build coping skills, I also believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to create a safe space to process emotions.

I am proud to be a part of the Institute for Girls' Development's mission of providing a supportive and safe space for girls and young women to thrive, overcome challenges, build upon their strengths, and live their best lives.

Superflex Academy (ages 7-11) is designed for girls who would benefit from tools to improve attention, impulsivity, flexibility and reading social cues. Art, role plays, journaling, games, and discussion are used to engage different types of learning styles and interests.
