Morandah currently attends Touro University and is Intern at Awaken Wellness as an Marriage and Family Therapist. Using an integrative approach, she works with various populations including individuals and couples, that seek emotional relief, behavioral changes, and self-awareness. Her specialties are life transitions, anxiety, sexual intimacy, and sexual trauma. She also works with people of color, ranging from ages of 10 years and up, single or married, and of any gender or religion identity. Morandah has dealt with vicarious trauma through domestic violence, sexual abuse, and childhood molestation.
Her experience has led her to understand that negative emotions from traumatic events can linger long after the event has occurred. As a therapist, she has the innate ability to understand and assist those searching to heal.
Her future goal is to become a Sex Therapist and to work with the youth in teaching about sexual health, couples with intimacy dilemmas, and individuals with sexual dysfunction.
