"The cornerstone of any effective therapy experience is a good relationship. The relationship between therapist and client can provide an opportunity for working through difficult emotions and experiences, both past and present. I strive to develop a nonjudgmental partnership with each person I see in therapy, keeping in mind that every person and situation is unique. This allows us, together, to explore and understand the issues that bring you to therapy and how to begin to resolve them."

"Therapy serves different purposes for many people. For some, it is to reduce specific symptoms that negatively impact their lives, and for others, it provides them with space to learn tools or establish goals to improve their everyday life. Many of us need a safe space to learn who we were, who we are, and who we would like to be; Therapy serves as this space. Together in therapy, we can take the first step to improvement, but it first starts with your decision to begin."

"Patients typically come into therapy feeling anxious, afraid, and wanting relief. I strive to alleviate this discomfort with my caring, open, and empathetic demeanor. Experience has shown me that therapy can help patients better live life on life's terms. I believe that through acceptance, committed action and the help of a professional, lasting change is possible. This change helps patients feel less need to escape their feelings because they feel better about how they act. Therapy is not always easy, but it is worth it."

"I am a Marriage and Family Therapist who LOVES his job! I enjoy meeting ROCK STAR individuals, couples and families each and every day and consider it a privilege to join you on this journey of discovery and healing. I operate from a systemic perspective meaning that together, we examine all of the functioning systems at play in your life. We then determine which systems (i.e. marriage, church, school, friends) are causing distress or diminishing the quality of daily functioning and design a specific treatment plan tailored to meet your treatment goals. I would be honored to serve you and/or your family!"

"Taking the first step to start therapy can be scary, yet with the support of a safe and nurturing environment, taking that first step can be empowering. Whether you have been thinking about starting therapy for years or recently decided to take the step, you are in the right place. We often get caught up in life and do not take the time to care for ourselves. Self care is not selfish. You may be having trouble with addiction to drugs or alcohol, symptoms of trauma, or depression, anxiety and stress. It is possible to live a life with less suffering and more freedom and connection. You do not have to suffer alone or forever. "
