"If you never heal from what hurt you, you will bleed on people who didn't cut you."
Mental health is just as important as physical health and yet we find often ourselves lacking in self care and emotional attention. Maybe you find yourself lashing out at loved ones, or having difficulties communicating effectively within relationships. Maybe you have inner doubts or shame that you have never been able to share in a safe and supportive setting. Maybe you are sick of constantly feeling depressed or anxious with no apparent cause and with minimal hope of change.

Beginning with your first session, we will explore where you are, how you got here, and plan to achieve the life you want. You will leave with renewed hope and strength. Contact me so we can schedule a time for you to begin your journey.

I value interpersonal approaches to psychotherapy, using evidenced-based strategies to target specific symptoms to improve their quality of life. This means that I pay close attention to the relationship I have with my clients and use techniques that have been tested and found to be effective for resolving mental health issues. I am an active therapist and I will openly share my thoughts and recommendations with you throughout our work together. I also adopt and promote compassionate, non-judgmental view with clients. Together, we can develop new ways for you to cope and help you to resolve the issues that prompted you to seek care.

I enjoy working with a variety of individuals who feel motivated to understand themselves better and make changes that will positively impact their lives. I believe it is a powerful and healing process to show up to the emotional pain we experience by walking through it instead of away from it. It's a brave act of self love!

My goal as a counselor is for you to feel comfortable to work through life’s difficulties, no matter how big or small, in a safe environment. Through this process, you can gain new insight and start to change the behavioral patterns that no longer serve you. Though therapy can be difficult, I also believe it has the potential to be wildly rewarding, healing and even fun.

Do you find yourself overthinking, putting pressure on yourself to keep everything together, or feeling anxious even when things in your life look “good” from the outside? Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to slow down and find more calm. Therapy can be a space to pause, gain insight into the patterns shaping your life, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

You may be the one everyone depends on—the caregiver, parent, helper, or educator who keeps showing up for everyone else while quietly carrying a lot yourself. Perhaps you're navigating a season of change and no longer feel quite like yourself. Relationships, responsibilities, identity, priorities, or even your body may be shifting in ways that leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. I have a particular passion for supporting women through life's transitions and creating space to reconnect with what matters most as you move forward with greater intention, self-compassion, and trust in yourself.

I work with people who are carrying more than others can see—whether that's trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, life transitions, or a sense of feeling stuck and disconnected from themselves. I also have a special interest in helping women navigate perimenopause, menopause, and challenging relationships with food and body image.
Using Brainspotting and other evidence-based approaches, I help clients understand the roots of their struggles, heal unresolved experiences, and reconnect with their strengths. Together, we build hope, resilience, and a path toward lasting change.

As a Licensed Addiction Counselor and someone in long-term recovery myself, I work with individuals who are ready to honestly look at what’s driving their substance use and begin building a different life. I got sober in 2013 after years of consequences, legal involvement, and repeated attempts to change on my own. That experience shapes how I work today and gives me firsthand understanding of the cycle of wanting things to change while continuing to feel stuck.

Relationships can propel us to anger and self-doubt, to heartbreak and loss. But in my own life and in the lives of my clients, relationships are often our best guides, showing us where we can stretch and soften. I help clients tune into what their relationships are trying to show them and provide practical skills and insight for loving — themselves and others — better.
