About
I am a clinical psychologist specializing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for mood and anxiety disorders. I treat adults with depression, anxiety (panic, worry, phobias), social anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, and life stress. In addition to my practice at the San Francisco Bay Area Center for Cognitive Therapy, I am an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Berkeley. I believe in a collaborative approach that emphasizes symptom relief, skill building and self-exploration.
I have extensive training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and CBT-I (CBT for insomnia) , the gold-standard treatment for depression, anxiety and insomnia. I also have extensive experience working with adults with ADHD, individuals navigating major life transitions and chronic health problems (multiple sclerosis, lupus, cancer, chronic pain).
The San Francisco Bay Area Center for Cognitive Therapy has been committed to providing empirically-supported, ethical, and compassionate care to our patients for more than 20 years. The Center is located three blocks from the Rockridge BART station. Visit the Center's website at Sfbacct.com.
