I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia, with experience working alongside clients of all ages, gender identities, and ethnicities. My approach with each client is as unique as the individual. Utilizing an integrative approach of evidence based practices, I aim to help each individual to feel aware of who they truly are, and feel confident that the solution they are looking for already lies within. As such, my ideal client is anyone who is struggling to manage the challenges of life, but is open to trying something new with a support who offers safety, acceptance, and a relaxed environment.
I have experience working with individuals of all ages who have suffered traumatic experiences, and this has informed my practice to focus on creating an environment of safety, building confidence and empowerment, and unlearning patterns that no longer protect. I only utilize evidence based modalities to ensure my clients receive the best possible care.
One of the most courageous acts a person can do is reach out their hand, and ask for help. We can often be made to feel that asking for help is a sign of failure, when it is truly the mark of an individual who believes there is hope.
