About
You're busy, and that's part of the problem. You’ve been thinking about therapy for a while -- between getting it done at work, parenting your ass off, trying to be the partner you think your partner deserves, managing family obligations, PTA, book club, carpool… In fact, thoughts of therapy have probably popped up as you’re lying in bed at night worrying through your mental to-do list for tomorrow while too exhausted to sleep and knowing that tomorrow won’t provide any more of a break than today did (spoiler alert: there was no break). And you just want a friggin' rest without worrying that those you love won't suffer for it.
I can help you give yourself that break that you ache for so badly. We'll use mindfulness skills to figure out which parts of the to-dos are worth it and which are not. We'll find the value in your work and your relationships so that your time and energy feel well-spent. We'll turn down the volume on the to-do tape player and turn up the self-compassion.
I get that you feel fully-cooked or overdone most of the time. I’d love to help you not feel that way. My job is to help you let the extra – and trust me, there’s plenty extra there – go, and find joy again. If you’re still reading this, you’re ready to do the work. Give me a call or shoot me an email, and let’s give you some room to breathe again.
