I have always found it fascinating that so much learning can arise from a simple conversation. I believe that as human beings we are constantly evolving and therefore, I thrive on learning from the professionals that surround me as well as my clients. It is the most humbling and rewarding experience to serve an individual that has courageously put their faith in me to guide them in their healing journey. I see growth not only in the client but also in myself because I believe human beings are meant to learn, evolve and grow from educating one another.
As a facilitator at Jessica’s House, working with kids became a rewarding experience. And I continued as a clinician at Youth for Christ, Family Concern Counseling, by working as a school counselor helping kids with their many day-to-day challenges. I have worked with individuals/couples using various tools that become a guide in their daily struggles.
It humbles me to work with individuals that find the courage and have faith in me. It's okay if you are unsure because you are here now and it only takes that first step.
