Hello! If you have felt misunderstood, on edge or are looking around at a life that doesn't fulfill you, I am here to help. Life doesn't always turn out the way we want, and if you've been impacted by trauma then it can be extra difficult. I see emotional experiences as the most influential aspects in life. Trauma can impact each human being in a unique way, and I believe accountability is a necessary step to interrupt generational trauma. Some of the most helpful interventions I provide are Internal Family Systems, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
My experience as a provider has centered around understanding complex trauma, human relationships, and intergenerational patterns. I can offer a place for containment to process disturbing events and I can assist in exploring the ways your past continues to show up in your life. I am specialized in treatment for survivors of sexual and/or domestic violence.
In a session with me, you can expect to be treated with kindness and dignity, develop awareness of how emotions are stored in your body, identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, and develop safety & security within yourself. My work will always include tailoring sessions in a holistic manner to meet the needs of you as a unique, irreplaceable human.
