Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of experience. If you feel lost or overwhelmed by unexpected life challenges, I would like to work with you and help you become the person you would like to be. I earned Masters' Degrees in American and European Universities and completed my residency in VA. Currently I provide individual therapy only and via telehealth.
I have treated individuals with serious mental illness and substance abuse in correctional facilities, residential services, outpatient community health agencies, emergency services and private practice. I have an eclectic approach to treatment favoring CBT, DBT and MI. I am also a trauma certified provider.
I provide treatment in Polish and English. In my approach I tend to use humor and positive psychology. I focus more on the present by using concepts of mindfulness to restore balance in one's life. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment to foster personal growth.
