My passion is working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples to meet the challenges they may be experiencing such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, anger management, addiction, self-esteem issues or perhaps spiritual emptiness. One of my goals is to shed light on the issues that you are currently experiencing, noticing the internal roots of conflict, and finding ways to make meaningful and purposeful shifts in your life. My treatment approach is integrative, and following an assessment of the individual needs of my client determines which modalities I utilize.
My areas of interest include working with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma/abuse, parent/child communication issues, behavioral problems, and spiritual issues. I also have training in evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT).
Autism is a spectrum disorder (ASD), meaning that there is variation in the way it presents in every child or adult. I am able to perform psychological testing and utilize therapeutic techniques to help with social/communication styles, mood regulation, and behavioral patterns.
