I am a bilingual(Spanish-English) licensed psychologist with 30 years of clinical experience working with teens, adults and seniors. I have specialized in treating culturally diverse populations suffering with emotional/psychological difficulties related to the problems of every day living. Patients will find compassionate and professional care for the treatment of stress related to marriage/divorce, parenting, employment, medical issues/disabilities, grieving, immigration, acculturation. Treatment will focus on developing a deeper level of self-awareness, understanding and acceptance. All patients will learn mindfulness exercises for promoting their own physical and mental wellness.
Sessions are culturally sensitive to ethnic/racial minorities and immigrants. Treating the needs of women with sensitivity to sexism/discrimmination and healing from trauma. An ally to the lgbtqi+ community.
Unique to my practice - cultural sensitivity and bilingual clinical services in both English and/or Spanish.
