I believe when given a safe and supportive place to explore our experiences and ourselves, we have the ability to gain awareness of our potential. As a therapist, I strive to encourage autonomy, advocacy, and personal growth within the individuals that I have the opportunity to work with.
With a decade of experience, I am passionate in working with individuals to address addictive or compulsive behaviors with a focus on substance abuse and gambling treatment. I enjoy working with individuals struggling with a wide range of problems, with an emphasis on co-occurring mental health and substance use/gambling issues.
I primarily work with adults, but will work with clients ages 15 and up. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques infused with motivational interviewing, and operate from an Existential/Humanistic therapeutic approach, to provide an environment conducive to progress toward your goals in therapy.
