The parent is an integral part of therapy and skills training when my client is a child.
I have worked with children and parents for twenty five years with experience from inpatient to early intervention to school based. Helping a client work through struggles might be achieved through role play, art expression, improvisational play, DBT skills, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral activities, or talk therapy.
We can use our time together to talk through problems in a safe, judgment free space. We will work together to shape the steps toward a self-selected goal.
