Clients contact me when they are in emotional pain and dissatisfied with their personal or professional lives. I work with each individual or couple to find clarity for what is possible and to help change the patterns that bind them. I use several therapeutic approaches such as teaching self regulation, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems. My goal is to address conflict, emotional pain and trauma, and set a course for healing. I encourage clients to take an active role in therapy while providing gentle, steady guidance. My approach to therapy has been deeply influenced by what my clients have taught me.
I use various techniques to diffuse conflict, strategize resolutions, and promote healing. I have extensive experience working with clients in the medical field such as RN's, pharmacist, physicians, etc.
Therapy is a way to accelerate emotional growth and clarify goals and heal unresolved trauma. My experience includes 35 years of working with individuals, couples and families in various settings such as Hospice care, individual and couples therapy in private practice.
