My preferred clients are adults and older adolescents who have varied needs to include trauma recovery, LGBTQ+, veterans, and couples therapy. I am a military veteran so have a true understanding of military issues. I am not afraid of complex issues or socially "taboo" topics. I appreciate clients who are invested in bettering themselves, are inquisitive, and willing to learn. I have been working in behavioral health and counseling since 2014 and am independently licensed, and nationally certified. I am trained in EMDR and have been providing this amazing intervention for two years.
I am passionate about helping others become their best selves. With a background in trauma informed care, I understand how experiences shape us. As a military veteran I have the ability to support people who have gone through hardship. I have an interesting and varied personal history which helps me better understand a wide range of people and experiences.
