Hello and welcome! My name is Monica Garcia, I am a licensed mental health counselor. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depressive disorders, as well as those navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and other perinatal mental health challenges. In addition to individual therapy, I also facilitate therapy groups that provide connection, support, and shared healing.
My counseling style is warm and non-judgmental. I encourage my clients to be a part of the therapeutic process. Together, my clients and I explore deep rooted issues and identify negative thinking patterns. According to the individual client's needs, I incorporate a variety of techniques.
