As a Latina woman in Northwest Arkansas I have often struggled with identity. Constantly navigating between cultures can be detrimental to our self identity. This "otherness" often leads to anxiety and depression that seems inescapable. Learning to own all parts of ones self is crucial to mental wellbeing and to understanding the self. Or maybe you struggle with other issues like anxiety, depression, or ADHD (to name a few) and you don't feel like you have a community who understands how difficult that can be on your mental health.
As someone who has lived in this "otherness" I want to help others find their self. I want my clients to live up to their full potential but in order to do that it is important to know who you are. Through a person centered lens I can help you get to know yourself.
As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC, I consult with our team of therapists and psychiatrists who specialize in different issues, ensuring that all possible treatment approaches are considered. If we encounter problems outside my areas of expertise, I can provide seamless referrals, including testing and medication management, to get you the needed help.
