I love working with those who are uncomfortable with the idea of therapy. A client once told me "You should be a therapist for people who do not like therapy". I try to understand people on an individual level & adapt my skills to meet their needs. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, & nonjudgmental atmosphere. Therapy should not be simply "learning coping skills", to deal with negative feelings, it should involve working through the root of the problem to facilitate long-lasting change.
