I believe that therapy can be social justice; self care can be a rebellion. I prioritize Queer, BIPOC and female identified care. All people are creative, resourceful and capable of growth. Change is difficult and we are all deserving of support. I am honored to work with folks through all of life’s transitions. I trained in Person-Centered, Strengths' based counseling at The Evergreen State College Counseling Center and these modalities are the foundation of all my work. At Lesley, I studied Expressive Therapies and I use these techniques as appropriate to the client. I use EMDR for trauma and anxiety, NVC for communication and Gestalt dream analysis.
For the past 30 years, I have been working in non-profit social service settings with diverse folks. I am interested in building a more equitable, inclusive world one authentic interaction at a time.
