Hi, I’m Monica! I specialize in working with children and adolescents who are navigating emotional and behavioral challenges. I’m passionate about supporting those experiencing difficulties related to neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem, self-harming behaviors, peer relationships, and trauma. Many of the young people I work with struggle to identify, understand, and express their feelings and needs—and that’s where our work begins. Through a compassionate, individualized approach, I help clients build self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthy coping strategies.

I believe that all behavior is communication—every action tells us something. My approach centers on uncovering the "why" behind a child’s behavior. By understanding the underlying needs or emotions driving the behavior, I help children and parents strengthen their connection and improve communication.

I understand how overwhelming it can be when your child is struggling and not knowing what to do. It’s hard to know how to help when they can’t always express what they’re feeling. I’m here to listen, understand, and work with you and your child to find the tools and strategies that will make a real difference and create positive change.
