We can all use someone to talk to when things overwhelm us. Knowing we are supported offers freedom to figure things out and get to know ourselves in different and new ways. I am called to work with people who need to be heard. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families. Learning or growing of any kind can't happen without safety. I don't consider myself an expert, but, rather, an individual, a vulnerable human, like you, who walks in companionship, side by side, with you as you discover how to step into your truth.
I use traditional, research-based therapies incorporating play therapy, art, music, theatre, trauma-based therapies. I enjoy treating clients with PTSD, ADHD/Adult ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, grief issues, spirituality issues, working with parents and guardians, doing couples/family therapy, and working with LGBTQ individuals.
It's vital for me advocate for marginalized populations who find themselves voiceless. Volunteering with d/Deaf individuals and their families, I am learning to be a more fluent signer. It's important that I offer my clients the best fit and treatment for them, setting them on the appropriate path to wholeness and healing.
