I am an LCSW providing experientially-based therapy to adults and adolescents with issues including trauma, stress, anxiety, grief, loss, relationship problems, and low self-esteem. I work with you as a whole person, respectfully and nonjudgmentally. I want to understand where you are coming from, including how your culture shapes who you are.
Together we build a relationship of trust within which you can feel safe to explore, experiment, heal, and rediscover your own strengths. I have an engaged and empathic style and like to focus on the present moment as a source of experiential learning and change. Body, mind, and spirit are all involved in the process.
I am a certified Gestalt therapist who is also trained in EMDR, Mindfulness, and Trauma-Focused CBT. I flexibly use a combination of approaches to meet you where you are and meet your needs.
