As we go through life, we experience joy but also heartache, pain and suffering. My clients usually have a consistent theme of childhood and/or adult trauma and as a result are having relational issues and doubts about themselves. They need to be heard and validated. They need to know that each person is unique and special. I have many years of experience and I have studied various models of therapy. I have learned that if a client learns to regulate their internal state, then they begin to heal. All of life's healing happens in the context of attuned relationships based on trust, mutual respect, and partnership.
My specialty is trauma focused healing. I offer telehealth sessions or I offer equine sessions with my equine partners. My equine partners can help clients learn safety, controlling what is going on inside of them, having healthy boundaries and healthy relationships. The premise is the same for telehealth sessions, only without the horses.
