I work with any individuals who are struggling with understanding who they are and where they fit into the world. This may include difficulties with depression, anxiety, relationship/family conflicts, eating disorders, trauma, and a variety of other concerns. I am particularly interested in helping people develop emotional/physical insight and self-awareness, with the ultimate goal of increasing feelings of belonging and a sense of authentic purpose in their lives.
I believe that some of the most essential elements in therapy are safety and trust, and I endeavor to create genuine, accepting, and empathic connections with each individual I am privileged to work with. Therapy can be a challenging yet potentially life-enriching process, and I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with clients to help nourish deep relationships with themselves, others, and their broader environment.
In addition to talk therapy I also offer experiential/creative therapies informed by my training as a writer and registered yoga instructor. I am passionate about how our innate creativity can often be a healing force and powerful agent of growth and awareness. I look forward to speaking with you to learn of your challenges, goals, and what makes you unique!
