About
Most of us have learned that “there are no free passes in life.” We are all vulnerable to life’s curveballs. But sometimes we get tired of fielding them by ourselves. That’s where I come in…. Perhaps you, or a loved one, is struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, or abuse, among other concerns. It does not matter how overwhelming the problem is, healing and growth are always possible. We will work collaboratively by combining your knowledge of the situations you confront, with my professional experience in the healing process of counseling. I have a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and have been practicing since 1999 both in agency and private settings. I have experience with a wide range of challenging issues that inevitably impact relationships and daily functioning, in the context of a variety of socio-economic and cultural differences.
Choosing a therapist is a highly personal decision, so I believe a good place to begin is with a 15 minute consultation, free of charge, to determine if we are a fit.
