My counseling style is warm and welcoming. I believe in treating all people with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I am currently focusing on teen and adult clients who are experiencing life changes, depression, anxiety, LGBTQIA+ needs, transitions to adulthood, relationship issues, grief and loss, and difficulties with self esteem and self compassion. I provide both in person and virtual services, however I am currently working to increase my telehealth caseload.
I have over ten years of experience as a clinical social worker including nine years as a school social worker and four years as a mental health therapist. I tend to use an integrative approach that combines aspects of cognitive behavioral, solution focused, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I use a trauma informed and strength based lens with my clients.
My counseling style is warm and welcoming. I believe in treating all people with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I strive to be open and accepting toward people of diverse backgrounds.
