I'm a psychotherapist and an EFT Couples Therapist, and I'm passionate about supporting everyone in embodying their personal power. I utilize attunement between partners to promote understanding, and I work with emotions in the unconscious to understand any previous barriers to growth. With couples, I support each partner in communicating their truths while developing a new language to understand the negative pattern that leads to escalation or collapse. Together we will use mindfulness to understand what's happening in the moment and so I can learn what supports you best.
Therapy is vulnerable and exciting while we uncover the unspoken rules we've been operating from. We become more ourselves as we challenge those old beliefs and develop new ways of being. When working with me, clients report they feel stronger and have a better sense of what they need, and that they communicate about the hard stuff more effectively.
When we don't feel allowed to our needs, our feelings become painful, suppressed or eruptive. I work with anger and boundaries to understand unmet needs and all the historic factors that impact us. Depression and anxiety are inevitable symptoms of old wounds and suppressed needs, but the results can be surprising when we test those old beliefs.
