Molly Hero
Marriage & Family Therapist, MA, MFT
Have you been considering therapy but reluctant to schedule that first session? It can be uncomfortable asking for help. I believe that psychotherapy is a collaborative process; the most important element is a strong alliance between therapist and client. As a therapist who believes that all people are capable of change and growth, my hope is that I can join with you to assist in identifying your goals and developing a plan to address them in a satisfying way. Whatever problems or issues you might present, I will provide support and honor your experiences.
I have been seeing clients (adults, couples, adolescents, and families) since 2002. Some of my particular areas of expertise include: mood disorders (depression and bipolar,) relationships, addiction, trauma/PTSD, anxiety, abuse, self-esteem, eating disorders, premarital issues, family conflict, infertility, and LGBTQ concerns.
Please call for a free phone consultation or to set up an appointment. My office is in San Jose, conveniently located on the Alameda near Highway 880. If you decide after meeting that we are not a good match, I will be happy to refer you to another licensed professional.
