About
Sometimes life can bring challenges that make people feel overwhelmed and hopeless. I believe that individuals seeking out therapy have already shown a great deal of strength and courage and are on their way to overcoming these challenges. I strive to provide a comfortable, safe, and peaceful environment to help you make positive changes. I believe that therapy is a very individualistic experience and requires understanding, empathy, and flexibility.
I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community, including gender expansive/diverse individuals. I consider myself a sex positive therapist and have knowledge and experience working with polyamorous/ethical non-monogamous individuals and families. I work with a wide range of issues, including depression, relationship issues, trauma, and anxiety.
I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), PCIT (parent child interaction therapy) and I am a certified facilitator with Prepare and Enrich program, a resource to help empower premarital and married couples. Contact me if you'd like to learn more about my treatment approach in a free 15 minute phone consultation.
