As a therapist, I am there to listen, reflect, develop and build on healthy coping skills and provide insight in order to empower each client to reach his or her desired goals.
My theoretical approach is eclectic drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness and somatic strategies. My specialties include working with adults who may be experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal conflict, motivational and/or self-esteem concerns. I offer peer consultation and supervision.
I believe strongly in the mind body connection and it is essential that clients develop skills to better understand their emotional and physical selves in order to enhance overall wellness, self-compassion and an understanding of themselves on a deep level.
