I use a collaborative, conversational approach that emphasizes talk therapy over directive techniques, but still offers support and guidance as you explore how your experiences, relationships, thoughts, and feelings impact your daily life. I use elements of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, feminist theories, solution focused therapy, & exploration of relationships/attachments in my work.
I have experience working with a wide range of clients from varying backgrounds, experiences, and diagnoses. I love working with clients on how to communicate, set boundaries, and improve relationships in their lives (family, romantic, peer, etc.), as well as helping clients learn how to take care of and prioritize themselves.
