Maybe daily life feels harder than it should due to past trauma or ongoing mental health challenges. Many of the people I work with describe feeling overly sensitive or even “broken” before starting therapy. I also help parents who are worried about their children’s behavior—whether it’s emotional outbursts, struggles at school, or difficulty adjusting to life changes. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where we can work together to restore balance, build resilience, and move toward a hopeful future.
Together, we’ll work on building healthy coping strategies, improving communication, setting boundaries, and getting to the root of what's causing distress. I use techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy to help guide this process. With children, I incorporate play and sandtray therapy to meet them at their level in a safe, expressive way.
I know firsthand what it’s like to be a child navigating family dysfunction, and I became a therapist to support kids like me—those trying to make sense of their world and their feelings. I also work with teens and adults who grew up in similar environments and are still healing from those early experiences.
